Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse (WAYL) serves in providing instructional youth leagues to the Westerly area (Westerly, Charlestown, Richmond, Hopkinton, Ashaway). The lacrosse season is in the Spring and begins late March and ends in June. Practices and home games are in Westerly and away games are in southeastern CT and RI.
WAYL's first season was Spring 2011 and was succesful with boys and girls teams for every age group. Westerly High School has girls' and boys' lacrosse teams. Beginning lacrosse at a youth level will provide experience to our players and prepare them for high school competition.

We are seeking adults with lacrosse experience to help with development of the league and with coaching.
