Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse offers year-round opportunities for all levels of boys and girls lacrosse. Here are some of the programs we've offered and will continue to offer:
This is the heart of the lacrosse season! WAYL has boys and girls teams from kindergarten to 8th grade. WAYL is a member of NECLax (New England Coastal Lacrosse) and competes in recreational level games with Southeastern CT teams.

Each summer, Blueprint Lacrosse offers a summer camp for rising grades 3-12 right here in WESTERLY. The Blueprint Summer Camp 2017 is July 17-20. Registration is open now. This year, Blueprint will be featuring a girls camp which will be led by the Women's Pro league player Caitlin Villareal. The boys camp is led by Coach Mark Hoey, Dutch National Lacrosse team defensive coach, and Coach Phil Casseus, Roger Williams University Assistant Coach.
WAYL offers a summer league for high school and adult lacrosse players. Youth clinics are also offered. To be informed of summer events, join our email list.
WAYL offers after school programs at the Springbrook, State Street Elementary Schools and the Tower Street Community Center in the Fall.
In conjunction with the Westerly Recreation Department, WAYL conducts 'Introduction to Lacrosse' clinics offering the opportunity for boys and girls to learn lacrosse. Registration is open at www.westerlyrec.com.
Occasionally, an indoor program using soft sticks is offered at the Ocean Community YMCA. Check the course offerings at www.oceancommunityymca.org
