Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse offers year-round opportunities for all levels of boys and girls lacrosse.

Here are some of the programs we've offered and will continue to offer:

Spring League

This is the heart of the lacrosse season! WAYL has boys and girls teams from kindergarten to 8th grade. WAYL is a member of RIYLL (RI Youth Lacrosse League) and competes in recreational level games with Southeastern CT teams. 

Spring registration will open January 1st. Teams fill up quickly and prompt registration is encouraged.

The season begins in March for grades 3 and up and is indoors.  The full season is underway around April 1st for all registered players.

Summer

Each summer, Blueprint Lacrosse offers a summer camp for rising grades 4-9 right here in WESTERLY. The Blueprint Summer Camp 2024 will be sometime in mid-July. This camp is open to boys and girls.

WAYL sometimes offers youth clinics in the summer. To be informed of summer events, join our email list by entering your email for the newsletter.

Westerly Recreation Department offers adult and teen lacrosse league during the summer.  Information and registration is at their web site.

Fall/Winter

WAYL sometimes offers after school programs at the Springbrook or State Street Elementary Schools in the Winter and Fall.
