About Us

Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse (WAYL) serves in providing instructional youth leagues to the Westerly area. The lacrosse season is in the Spring and begins late March and ends in June. Practices and home games are in Westerly and away games are in RI and sometimes southeastern CT.

WAYL's first season was Spring 2011 and was successful with boys and girls teams for every age group. Westerly High School has girls' and boys' lacrosse teams. Beginning lacrosse at a youth level will provide experience to our players and prepare them for high school competition.

WAYL continues to offer opportunities to play and learn lacrosse year round. Visit our Camps & Clinics page for information about seasonal events.

We are always interested in volunteers with lacrosse experience to help with development of the league and with coaching.
