Thank you for registering your child to play with Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse for the Spring 2024 season!

IMPORTANT! If you are registering a NEW player, you must order a uniform:

UNIFORMS

New players must order a uniform which you will own. Families can re-use uniforms. Be sure to order your child's uniform as soon as possible. Jersey numbers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

BE SURE TO SELECT YES during registration to order a uniform.   If you did not order a uniform during the registration process and need a uniform, email westerlylacrosse@gmail.com.

Equipment

Required to play :

- WAYL uniform

- lacrosse stick

- mouth guard (there will be an opportunity to order a custom fit mouth guard before the season begins through WAYL)

- cleats and gloves are recommended but not required.

EQUIPMENT

If you need assistance with equipment, please contact us at westerlylacrosse@gmail.com. We may have equipment available to loan on a first come, first serve basis. WAYL provides financial assistance for registration and/or uniforms.

PAYMENT & REFUNDS

Please contact us for payment questions, financial assistance or refunds. US Lacrosse membership is non-refundable ($35).

JOIN US!

We are anxious for the youth to have a season! WAYL welcomes parents who would like to learn more about the game and perhaps assist coaches on the team side of the field. WAYL will subsidize any costs for training and the first year of USL membership. Contact Adam Kaufman, WAYL President, if you are interested.

No time to volunteer? We are always seeking sponsors for WAYL and appreciate any referrals you may have.

THE SEASON BEGINS

There will indoor practices at Wide World of Indoor Sports (WWIS), 2 Sachatello Industrial Dr. Oakdale, CT. Indoor sessions will begin March 10th and more information will be sent via email. Outdoor practices begin around April 1st. Your team coach will be in touch with you no later than mid-March.
